Gilbert, AZ-This weekend until the end of May, 19 digital photography students at Williams Field High School will have their pictures showcased in “Emerge 2017,” a student photography exhibition in downtown Gilbert.

Marissa Holmberg (9) shared how lucky she feels to have her picture featured in the gallery, “This is my first time having something featured in a gallery, it’s really cool and exciting! It’s funny because I actually took that picture by accident and it turned out to be a success! It was supposed to be a test shot but it turned out really good!”

The exhibition lasts from now until May 20th, but the official opening reception is Saturday, April 29 from 5-8pm at Art Intersection in downtown Gilbert.

Photography teacher Mr. Adams explained, “Mr Abrusscato and I are honored that 19 of our digital photography students are having their art featured in the exhibition in downtown Gilbert, Arizona.”
