Gilbert, AZ- Gabriella Antelmi (9) was selected to be Williams Field High School AVID Student of the Month!  Some benefits of the AVID system is it helped Gabriella push herself to her full potential of learning.

She is taking AP Human Geology, and said this is her hardest class, she explained it by saying, “It’s difficult to study for the tests and quizzes sometimes because the material on the test isn’t from the text books in class.”

Gabriella plans on going to ASU to become a Psychologist. To complete this goal she said she needs to get good grades in college and to finish every task with 100% effort. Some advice she would like to share to her peers is to stay focused in school, and complete all assignments.

Her favorite part about the AVID program is the team bonding activities they do on Friday, and overall the class and people are all fun. The most challenging part about the AVID program is completing 15 hours of community service every semester, last semester Gabriella helped work at her sister’s doctor office.

Once again Congratulations to Gabriella Antelmi for being April’s AVID Student of the Month!
